Privacy Policy

Carekind at Home is a private home care service run by me, Borbala Kiss. I offer visiting care, personal support, companionship, household help and overnight care in the Tunbridge Wells, Pembury and Tonbridge area.

This policy explains what information I collect, why I collect it, how I keep it safe, and the rights you have over it. I follow UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

I only collect the information I need to respond to your enquiry and provide safe care.

• Contact details you give me in the enquiry form — your name, phone number, email address and postcode.
• Information about the care you are looking for — who the care is for, the type of support needed and the best time to contact you.
• If you become a client, I will keep a care plan which may include health and care needs, agreed with you.

I only share your information when it is necessary — for example with your GP or other health professionals involved in your care, when you have agreed, or when the law requires it.

Enquiry details are kept only as long as needed to follow up on your request. Client care records are kept in line with legal requirements for health and care records.

Your information is stored securely and can only be seen by me and, where necessary, the professionals involved in your care. I take care to protect it against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.

You can ask me to see the information I hold about you, ask me to correct anything that is wrong, or ask me to delete your enquiry details. To do any of these, simply email me and I will respond promptly.
