Terms & Conditions
Simple, clear terms for using my private home care services — what I promise, what I ask of you, and how fees and changes work.
About these terms
These terms explain how my private home care services are provided, and what you can expect from me when you use them. By arranging care with Carekind at Home, you agree to these terms.
My services
I provide private, self-funded home care in the Tunbridge Wells, Pembury and Tonbridge area, including visiting care, personal support, companionship, household help and overnight care. Every service is tailored to what you need and agreed with you before care begins.
Assessment and care plans
Before care starts, I carry out an assessment with you to understand your needs and preferences. I then agree a written care plan with you, which sets out what support I will provide and when. I review this regularly and update it whenever your needs change.
Fees and payment
My visiting care rate is £30 per hour, with overnight care priced separately. Bank holidays are charged at double my standard rate.
I will always agree fees with you clearly in writing before care begins — there are no hidden costs. Invoices are issued as agreed, and payment is due by the date shown on the invoice.
Changes and cancellations
You can change or cancel visits at any time. I kindly ask for as much notice as possible so I can plan my schedule fairly. I will let you know in advance of any planned changes on my side, such as holiday cover, so you are never caught by surprise.
Medication
I can provide medication prompting and support, but I do not administer medication. Any medication support will be clearly written in your care plan and agreed in advance.
My commitment to you
I am committed to providing safe, kind, professional care, delivered to high standards of best practice in every aspect of care, including moving and handling.
Your responsibilities
I ask you to treat me with respect and courtesy, to let me know about changes to your needs or home circumstances, and to pay invoices on time. A safe home environment is important, and I will always raise any concerns with you openly.
Concerns and complaints
If anything is not right, please tell me — I want to know. You can find full details of how I handle concerns in my Complaints Policy.
